Mission Statement

We, the Winship Community, will provide our students with a safe, caring, stimulating, and creative educational environment with literacy as our foundation. We commit ourselves to celebrating diversity through a curriculum that explores and values issues relevant to all our students. We, the administration, faculty, parents, students, and community, dedicate ourselves to working together to create a community of lifelong learners.

For Parents

As a parent of a child attending the Winship, you are automatically a member of the Winship School Parent Council, and you’re cordially invited to attend this year’s Parent Council meetings!

All of our meetings take place at the Winship on Thursday evenings from 6:30-7:00PM. Free childcare is provided.

Attending the meetings is a great way to be involved in our child(ren)’s education and to let your voice be heard. We hope to see you there!
