Mission Statement

We, the Winship Community, will provide our students with a safe, caring, stimulating, and creative educational environment with literacy as our foundation. We commit ourselves to celebrating diversity through a curriculum that explores and values issues relevant to all our students. We, the administration, faculty, parents, students, and community, dedicate ourselves to working together to create a community of lifelong learners.

Uniforms

In 2006, the Winship School adopted a manditory uniform policy. All students must wear the designated school uniform.

Uniforms The uniform includes:

Navy blue polo shirt, long or short sleeves.
Navy blue sweaters are also allowed.
Khaki bottoms - shorts, pants, skirts and skorts.
Navy or white socks. Girls may also wear navy or white tights or hosiery.
Shoes may not have a heel over one inch high
